Hi guys,

I am having trouble choosing a future career. I am a college student, but have not chose the major yet.

I have taken two test, one is MBTI test, and the other one is U&I.

From the tests above, I have talent on the career that deals with the machenical things. But I do not want to end up woking in the factories, etc., because in today’s world, the manufacturing industry does not make the “lots” of money.

In today’s world, the financial and the “corporate administrations”, etc., making loads of money. Plus, I like living in the big cities like L.A. or N.Y., but those manufacturing facilities are located on outside of the big cities.

My question is this; do you recommend any kind of test that reveals what kind of career I want deep inside of my mind?

A structural engineer having his degrees from civil engineering department, with a BS, MS and a PhD and an extensive knowledge of FEA and finite element softwares. But without any experience in the automotive industry. Can he work as a CAE or a Design Engineer in one of the Automotive companies?
